VISION

“Aegean’ s Muses” are two modern, residences with swimming pools and all kinds of contemporary facilities combined with the famous Tinian tradition and hospitality. Our ambition is to offer not only an excellent provision of services but also experiences, in order to make our guests experience unforgettable moments close to nature and away from the noisy daily life.

Muses in ancient Greek mythology are nine ancient deities, Zeus’ daughters and Mnimosine(Memory). God Apollon was their leader.

At first those deities were Nymphs of the mountains and the water. Hesiod in Theogony narrates: “Mnimosine slept with Kronos’ son at Pieria (Pieria mountains) and gave birth to those virgins that make us forget our sufferings and ease our pains. For nine consecutive nights wise Zeus climbed on his holy bed and slept next to Mnimosine away from the other immortals. A year later, when seasons and months had completed their journey and when many days had passed Mnimosine gave birth to nine girls…, who were all attracted by music…” Their names were: Clio, Efterpe, Thalia, Melpomene, Terpsichore, Erato, Polymnia, Yrania, Clliope.
